Jane's primary focus is performance (acting, singing, and dancing), with experience in contemporary straight plays, but is comfortable in musical theatre and pre-contemporary shows.
Her secondary focus is costume designing with occasional stage management and is planning to pursue a costume and/or theatre design MFA in the next several years.
Jane received her BFA in Acting/Directing at Pacific Lutheran University, with a minor in Critical Race Studies, and she resides in Vaughn, WA.

I grew up in Washington State and have always loved playing pretend and imagining stories.
As I got older, I started to see how the lack of representation and harmful stereotypes in the media aided in the cycle of oppression of various marginalized identities.
I use my life experience as an Asian-transracial adoptee and my background in gender, sexuality, and race studies as a starting point to create nuanced stories in my performances and art.
My want is to start works that invite critical thought. My hope is for the audience to empathize and continue that dialogue.
